1979-1980: Photojournalist, investigative unit, Unit 5. Built and operated vehicle for undercover photography, operated night vision devices, and participate in hidden camera production. In eighteen months Unit 5 produced six major series and won over 13 Emmys, a Peabody Award, the Headliner Award, the Buckeye Award, and many other prestigious awards in broadcasting.

1980: Unit 5, the investigative team, shared credit in all honors- 13 Emmys, the Headliner Award, the Buckeye Award, and numerous awards for excellence in the field of broadcast journalism.
Peabody Award for “STRIP & SEARCH,” describing indignities, that women suffered when incarcerated for minor offenses. Because of this series of reports, the law in Illinois was changed.
1980: Honorable mention, The National Press Photographers’ Association for the series, “HOT METAL, BIG BUCKS,” describing how organized crime steals and sells automobiles.
1980-1987: NBC News received several national Emmys and Emmy nominations, the Edward R. Morrow Award, numerous film festival awards, etc.

1995: Habitat for Humanity, Eagle Butte, South Dakota. Produced a series of VNR’s for the Jimmy Carter Work Project on a Lakota Sioux reservation just outside of Eagle Butte, SD. Produced two spots that were seen in over Twenty million households. “Spots” were awarded a 1996 Golden Phoenix Award.
2000: Writer/ Director/ Director of Photography: Marketing Video IBM’s J. D. Edwards Service & IBM’s Global AMS (Applications Management Service). I traveled around the world collecting elements for a marketing video.

Also wrote and directed the pilot production for the half-hour adventure series, EXTREME MIKE, aired on Georgia Public Television, Friday, April 14, 2000, at 11:00 PM.
